"I do appreciate it," Bucky says in a dry tone, but it's sincere. As she settles on top of him, he reaches back to shove a pillow under his head, propping himself up a bit and smiling at her.

"It's probably odd that I find that very reassuring," he teases, chuckling softly as he reaches up to sweep a fallen curl out of her face, tucking it behind her ear and then cupping her cheek, gazing up at her.

"I have no desire to hurt you," he assures her in a more sincere tone, and then he lets his smile go a little bit sly as he thumbs gently at the corner of her mouth. "Other than in hot ways that we both enjoy, of course. It sounds like we're in agreement."
