When the elevator doors open, Bucky makes a show of offering her his elbow and escorting her out once she takes it. Anticipation rises as they near his front door, but he knows that first they'll have to deal with Bopp, who has been cooped up alone for hours. He shouldn't need to take her outside until morning, but he's still unsurprised when she is right there when he opens the door, staring up at them with her tail swishing vigorously.
"Hello there," Bucky says to her, reaching down to scratch her between the ears before retrieving a treat from the jar near the door and feeding it to her. "We have company, so act right, huh?"
